BULK MATERIALS
VALYNT supplies Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI), Scrap Metal, Carbon and Petrochemicals globally. Operating in tandem with international makers and trading companies. Together, we produce, supply and distribute materials for industry: oilfield operations and steel manufacturing.
GREEN STEEL
VALYNT HBI
HBI (Hot Briquetted Iron) is used as a green scrap supplement in Electric Arc Furnaces allowing the production of most demanding steel grades.
HBI is also used in Blast Furnaces to boost productivity and to reduce the coke consumption, or in Blast Oxygen Furnaces as a low-residual substitute for scrap.
Compared to scrap, HBI offers a consistent and clean product quality. It can either be charged by bucket or by continuous feeding systems.

METALLURGICAL COKE APPLICATIONS
Applications for metallurgical coke are many and diverse. VALYNT supplies foundry coke, blast furnace coke and nut coke to steel, sugar, mineral wool and smelting industries.
METALLURGICAL COKE PROPERTIES
Blast Furnace (“BF”) coke has a porous, open morphology and in some cases, it may appear glassy. BF coke has hardly any volatile content; however, the ash constituents, which were the part of the original feed coal remains entrapped in the resultant BF coke. The bulk density of the metallurgical coke is typically around 0.78.
OILFIELD
From greenfield development to mature field operations, VALYNT Production Chemicals improve crude oil production.
VALYNT's patent pending technologies chemically upgrade crude oil by direct injection into pipeline, downhole or storage tank farms.
PRODUCTION
CHEMICALS

VX-ABA anti-blocking agent prevents pipeline plugging and controls frictional pressures.
PSI used in heavy crude oil for both water and oil soluble applications. Excellent tool for oil and sand separation.

VX-WSD water soluble demulsifier quickly separates produced water from crude oil.
VX-MCO Mercaptan Odor mitigates lower molecular weight mercaptans to below detection limits.
VX-VSR viscosity reducing agent reduces heavy crude viscosity for downhole oil production.
VX-ASD asphaltene dispersant removes and prevents paraffin and asphaltenic deposits.
VX-BCO BioCleanse treatment chemistry is designed to significantly reduce scale formation and fouling in membrane systems.
VX-WSD water soluble demulsifier quickly separates produced water from crude oil.
VX-DLI diesel lubricity improver restores natural lubricity properties in fuels.
VX-H2S is designed to reduce hydrogen disulfide and mercaptan in crude oil, refinery products, and gas condensate.
